A few Convergence Vectors

I managed to get a bit of painting done while waiting for my code to run (and distracting myself from the news) over the past week. I just grab a few models that looked like they'd be easy to paint and look pleasant in the end. Plus these are models that will be in most of my army lists.

Mitigator, Light Vector, Left

Mitigator, Light Vector, Right

I chose jacks because then I wouldn't have to remember how to do the cloth or the porcelain masks (which only models with a soul get). I didn't notice until I painted it that these light vectors have like a barbershop pole of light that runs through the middle, but that's pretty cool. The two above were before I applied a dull coat.

Mitigator and Cipher (Heavy Vector)

I did not remember to take any solo pictures of the Cipher before putting it away, but this photo shows all the details, and was taken after the dual coat was applied to both.

Assimilator, Heavy Vector, Front

Assimilator, Heavy Vector, Back

Assimilator, Heavy Vector, Right

And then last night I finished the Assimilator, which was actually one of the first bases I painted back when I was thinking about how to do them. The Cipher is on the same base (there's only one 50mm base unfortunately) but has less details painted on. I'm very happy with the glows on the Assimilator, especially on the back and the arm. If you're familiar with Assimilators, you may have noticed that the arms are backward, which is how I got it from a trade, but I kind of like the left handed Assimilator.

I'm hoping to actually get a warcaster done soon, and then maybe do a unit again. By my tally, I have now painted 8/24 units that I owned, though I am likely to get some of the new Convergence of Cyriss models at some point.
